UK Whitegoods has launched its own appliance insurance backed warranty scheme which offers some unique benefits specifically designed for the independent repairers. Not only can you insure a new product from a sale but you can also insure a product whilst it is still under the manufacturer’s warranty.

This allows you the ability to capture future service work.

You can use it as a sales tool, offering products with an inclusive extended warranty.

You can set your own prices to sell at with a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} maximum margin.

You get your own customers back, even if the product has a manufacturer’s spares warranty.

You get paid very well, current labour rate is 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} higher than the industry norm for insurance work.

Over the past couple of months we’ve been trialling this scheme with several of the repairers on UK Whitegoods with great success as it’s easy and it’s profitable. Not to put too fine a point on it, it helps UK Whitegoods as well, but then we wouldn’t do it if it didn’t benefit the repairers.
