Unable to remove the back off my AEG 16830 washing machine

Hello!

I’m trying to remove the back off the above washing machine but can’t do it! I’ve taken out all the screws I can see (including the ones on the metal bracket across the top) but the thing won’t come off.

Is there some knack to this that I can’t figure out? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

This machine is like a Zanussi in that you remove the whole rear half of the cabinet. You may have missed the screws at the sides near the bottom. These are hidden behind plastic plugs and you will need an 8mm socket, 1/4″ drive to remove them. You also need to unclip the bracket for the water inlet connections.
