ParticipantHi Guys,
Hope you can help me. I have a washer/dryer with a model number 02-800770. The dryer thermostat has been smashed. There are two stats, one resetable one and the main one. I need the main stat.
I have rung bernstein but they cannot identify the part number for me.
Dont you just love these crappy unbranded machine.
Can anybody help me.
Cheers

Also i forgot to add, I have a Tecnik washer, Model number TKL 9290 and i need the sump boot. I thought bernstein did these but according to them they dont. I’d swear blind this is the same machine as the one listed above in my other post.
Does anybody know who do Tecnik spares.
Thanks again
Nick

They are both the same machine 😉
Siltal are the manufacturer, the first one is White Westinghouse.
There is no indication which stat is which though, part numbers 49564400 and 49564500, you can get them from Masterpart (both special order) or from AIS on 01245 320992
By pure coincidence, I have the sump hose, it comes with the pressure hose as well, a customer ordered and returned for credit and I was about to return it to AIS 😯
PM me for details on the hose 🙂

I rang a few people yesterday and i got told that tecnik spares were being sold by BSH. I gave them a ring and they do.
So i’ve ordered the tecnik parts. I think i’ll phone back today and order the stats for the unbranded machine using the tecnik number. Are they definately the same machine?
Thanks for the offer of the sump Dave, if i had seen your email before i rang around i would f take you up on the offer. Thanks anyway.

Yep, BSH do sell Teknic spares but only the one’s the manufacture.
Teknic is a generic brand name used by a certain kitchen company and the appliances are made by Bosch, Whirlpool, Siltal, Electrolux etc, it depends on the model.
According to my information, both of the above are Siltal appliances.

CDA also do this machine (CI992) and their information makes the distinction.

Beware! This sump hose [and the soap hose incidentally] has a plastic collar securing it in position in the outer tub. The collar is pushed into position from inside the tub during manufacture and is not easy to re-fit from outside when changing the hose. In fact I’ve not managed to do it. Does anybody know how to do this? The last time when I had a sump hose with a hole in the middle I cut it and joined the two halves with an adapter to avoid having to change it.
