I want to put an undercounter fridge beneath the worktop in my existing kitchen. The one I like is this one:

(Actual product: Siemens KT16RAI30G undercounter fridge)
The problem is the dimensions. The space I have is okay – 600mm wide. And the height is okay, because I can adjust the height of this fridge by adjusting the feet. But the problem I have is with the depth. The depth of the space – in common with most kitchen design – is 600 deep. Yet this fridge, annoyingly, is 612mm in depth. So it looks as thought it will not be flush with my existing cabinets.
But have I found the solution? When I looked at the installation manual (here: https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==)/PORTALFRAME.HTM) it seems to say that, to install the fridge under the counter, you need to unscrew the worktop (i.e. the worktop which is on top of the fridge itself, ie. the plastic ‘top’ which is atop the fridge). Am I right in thinking that, once removed, the remaining fridge body (without the top) will be no deeper than 600mm – i.e. because it would seem that the extra ‘depth’ is because the fridge worktop, at the back of the fridge, ‘overhangs’ the fridge itself. If this be so, am I right in thinking that I can then fit this into my 600mm deep space. (I will, of course, have to cut a vent into my ktichen bench worktop to allow for airflow, but I’m fine with that).
In short, do you think this fridge (once topless!) will fit into a 600mm deep space?
Many thanks
