What tablets is it you’re using?

Where are you so I can gauge the water hardness and what’s the water pressure like?

The tablets are”Ariel” and they were ok up until several weeks ago. The area where I live is in the Central Scotland Region. the pressure is ok. Could it be the temperature of the water? as the ambient temperature has dropped quite a bit, and the machine is a cold fill type.

No, the machine will heat the water to the required temperature anyway 🙂

It’s more likely that one or both of the spray arms aren’t revolving properly. This could be either blockages (check all the holes along each one) or the arm/support are worn and not allowing them to rotate freely.

You might want to try completely removing the drawer and cleaning the water outlet holes on the dispenser roof. These can become slightly blocked and restrict the flow of water into the drawer. At the same time give the drawer a good clean.

If that doesn`t work you may well be right about the ambient temp. of the water.

    Power off for safety please.

Yeah, Ariel tabs should disolve in the drawer just fine all things being equal. The only thing that could stop that happening is water flow really.

You should be in a soft water area as well BTW. 😉

So, assuming that the water pressure is okay then it has to be a blockage as suggested. However there is the possibility that low pressure is causing it as well if it’s dropped for any reason, in whihc case you can put the tablets in the drum before you put clothing on top towards the back and that will work fine even in low water pressure.

    Hope it all helps.

    K.
