Can anybody tell me why the instruction book tells you to place the universal pan on a certain shelf position if cooking on more than one shelf? It’s all a bit complicated. Is it to deflect the heat from the fan in a different direction to enable food on different shelves to cook evenly?
P.S My first batch of fairy cakes were passable although the lower shelf was slightly slower to cook than the one above. I thought a fan distributed the heat evenly.
