Unprogrammed control PCB’s just interested

Just seen that washing machine control PCBs can be purchased ‘unprogrammed’.
Just wondering why, and how do you the engineer program them ?
Don’t want trade secrets, just interested.

depends on the machine

with indesit hotpoint etc you purchase the programmer and then the programme on a single use chip. or download the it from the internet if you have an account

have pm,ed you the indesit manual for interest

We have the GIAS men readers that program the boards and read the faults and also have the access and programming for the new NFC boards. We also have the Smeg software and programmer.

I have 2 X Gias Hoover/Candy mem loaders lying around collecting dust if any one is interested in them, they will need updating from the website, just PM me if your interested.
