ParticipantNot the usual problem associated with these models.
Can anyone offer any help- particularly wiring diagram??
Have customer with an FF92P where fan not running, turns out fan will run for few minutes (occasionally a couple of days)when evaporator down to temp, then cuts out. If you then power up again in quick start up (fridge door open) the fan does the normal run during the start process, so fan coil appears not to be problem.
I have worked on these for many years and have come across and sorted most problems, but this one has me stumped momentarily.
Changed both evap & Freezer Thermistors and the control board but problem still remains , one of the thermal fuses(LH plug) had signs of overheating on the plug, renewed plug and tidied connections- do wonder if problem may lie in behind these connections(foamed in), resulting in board receiving a too high resistance for fan circuit.
Anyone come across these symptons before?

I have when in doubt or when all else fails connected the evap fan supply connector to the compressor supply so when the comp starts so does the fan.
I have diagrams does the pcb have connectors along the bottom or is there one on the end (two pcb’s for these) ?September 16, 2009 at 5:45 pm #297216rickard

The fan breaks down after initial power up. Change the fan motor and all will be ok

Gentlemen- thanks for your prompt responses- sadly after posting my query, for some reason whitegoods site crashed on my computer!!
Have finally got it back today( sun), will investigate fridge suggestions later this week. No great rush as lent customer a loan appliance. 😆 -
