I’ve just read this newspaper article after a seeing it in a Tweet. #whitegoodsafety if you’re interested.

Tea towels soaked in fat from a restaurant, washed and then smoldered/partly burned whilst the dryer was left on overnight… 😮
Not a massive fire but a close call non the less.

A small amount of grease left on them…there’s enough grease on the door glass to fry your chips in.
Common sense didn’t come into play either.

Had a few with painters, especially car bodyshop people where the chemicals weren’t cleaned properly then they ignited in the dryer.
Byan is right… common sense and all that. 😉
