It appears that Merloni (the other one, not Indesit) have gotten their knickers in a twist and are installing shock absorbers upside down on integrated washers and washer dryers. This, depsite protestations from Merloni, does lead to excessive vibration, especially on wooden flooring as usual.
So if you come across a noisy one (front weight can hit the cabinet) or one that is bouncing about it’s all too possible that this is the problem.
I have no idea if it affects free-standing appliances as well, but knowing Merloni I’d expect that it will.
