We currently have a standard size AEG hob (?60cm).

Whilst in JL the other day, noticed a Neff hob that is wider but fits a standard aperture. Our hood is a 90 cm hood and their is plenty of space each side of the work top and below is a 120cm wide drawer. If I was to upgrade, should the swap (by a trade person) be quite easy? the current supply is by rigid copper pipe.

    Thanks.

    Hi

Important points to watch for are :

The hob top (pan support) should be 760mm fom the cooker hood.
A isolation valve should also be fitted to the supply (normally behind drawer).
Any of the units directly above hob shouls also be 760mm.

    Thanks Don,

Since posting, looked at some other designs and quite like the look of this model Fagor 6CFI-5GLSTNAT, not sure how to Hyperlink but here is an address….

We have an inbuilt oven and combi microwave from this supplier. It appears that this model also has a “standard 60” type of aperture. The existing hob is an AEG 69802 G.
