    Hi all,

    New here but in urgent need of help!!!
    My samsung rs20ccsv american fridge freezer is having problems reaching the right temp. This started about 3 weeks ago when i noticed my ice cream was melted. The display was at the correct levels but other food was defrosting so i switched the fridge freezer off and on again and it displyed -4 for the freezer and 9 for the fridge. I was advised to turn the freezer off and defrost it for 24 hours which i did, and it worked fine after that. However, 3 weeks later again i fancied some ice cream and it was melted AGAIN!! The exact same scenrio played out and i am now stuck with a fridge at 9 and a freezer at -4 and the prospect of throwing out a full freezer full of food again. I have limited funds and no idea how to sort this out, and really dont want to be ripped off by some cowboy repair bloke. Any ideas anyone??

    usually defrost sensor, but could be defrost heater and/or thermal fuse. If you don’t want to be ripped off by a cowboy why not call samsung authorised repairer (no offence taken)

    Ah, no offence meant! Just had a few bad experiences!! Can you suggest how much i should be looking to pay? Is it an easy fault to fix presuming its the defrost sensor?

    HI ALL- just like to ask for help, AS I’ve no idea what is wrong with this,all i know is the temperature is faulty on this refrigerator on both the fridge and refrigerator is help in locating a qualified technician in my area which is south shields tyne and wear northeast of the country- my number is 079491694553
