    Hi,
Need some advice pls on the above. Just got back with all the xmas food shopping to find the FF not working. The light comes on but no sound at all and no compressor working. I dont know what the model no. is or where to find it but looking at the other post’s im suspecting its the thermostat. If so, can I bypass it and how? I got it from Comet under a year ago so its under warranty but that wont help me when i try to call them out and they tell me that it’ll be a week etc!

Sorry nen, if you touch it you will invalidate the warranty.

The best bet is to get onto Comet in the morning and see what they can do to help.

It’s also unlikely to be the thermostat. 😉

Don’t suppose it is in a cold room or the garage? If so you need to gen yourself up on the vaguaries of these things in the refigeration help pages.

Yea Good call! Thx a lot for the advice. I’ll have to move the FF inside somewhere as the utility can not be heated.

    Great site and really helpful!!!

    Thx
