Urgent. Hotpoint WMA46S door will not lock

Went to this one with a door that would not open. Unlocked door from inside and then replaced interlock with one of the new cream types. Now the door will lock if pushed hard but flashing doorlock light appears too often as if door is not shut. Cannot see anything wrong with latch but the customer started a wash after i left and the light was reported to be flashing. I think this is a mechanical door fault. Can anybody help pleeese.

Could be a broken latch spring. I have seen this several times.

thats the only thing i could think of but split door and spring seems ok. cust has had probs with lock for two years has had to slam door.

Had same fault today. Door locked light flashing. Changed door interlock, still the same fault, thought oh dear module blown, module visually looked ok so tried new door handle and hook kit, problem solved. Door handle, hook, spring all looked 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, but obviously weren’t.

and customer now reports door locked light is flickering whilst on spin. but still operating.Vibration related wiring fault as well?

Fitted door lock handle latch kit. Works ok 1 hr. Then interlock click during distribute with motor kick and door is unlocked. locked light flashing after 2 secs. motor insulation ok. no chafed wires. Must be module? intermittent fault then happens all the time. 😕
