    Hi there

I’ve occasionally popped into here and appreciate the guys are online and helpful regularly so I thought a bit of thanks was deserved 😀

I’ve just read the quick wash posted by Martin and it reminded me to share this one oh and apologises if it’s been noted before however as they say it’s the thought that counts 😆

Yes the quick wash together with using those tablets or capsules will at some point come back to haunt you (well it was Halloween last night!)

I learnt from the MD of ISE (I think or was a Keith I think anyhow) that the smell from washing machines is due to the build up of gunk created from the capsules etc not being dissolved properly and even more so by using the quick wash and/or Ower temperature. Since this helpful call I reverted back to the old fashioned washing power as this also contains some of the bleach enabling not only cleaner clothes but also helps to clean your washing machine on each wash. I was also advised to do a hot wash with no clothing just plenty of washing power and hit the 90/95 button. Weirdly that’s also very therapeutic!

I have to say it’s common sense but advise I most appreciated.

OK so I’ve currently got a rattle problem and have a 3 Year old ISE washing machine costing over 900 quid so now I just pray it doesn’t die early! I will say I was a little dubious about the purchase which was of course the Mr decision! I guess the old moto of buying the most you can avoid ain’t certainly true on this one!

Washing out on the line today which is brilliant for 1st Nov 😛
