    Don’t expect much ‘expert’ help from this forum.

    Posted a simple question and like many other people received no useful replies apart from the basics dugh!

    Best to contact professionals as this place is for people wanting help but no pro’s prepared or able to answer!

    Well if you send a PM to a trade member then don’t even bother reading the reply then I suggest you go and waste someone else’s time.

    You have to remember that most if not all of the trade members are working full time and some of them give up lots of their valuable time to answer posts. Those that do not get answered will be either badly worded and incomprehensible or in some cases don’t have a simple answer. Not every problem can be solved by sitting at a keyboard, sometimes the only way to find the problem is to get hands on with the appliance using the many years of experience we have. Personally I do not like to guess so if I am not sure, I don’t answer.

    My answer to your PM from yesterday is still sitting in my outbox. 👿

    Thanks for your reply I have just seen it and it was helpful, but no more than I deduced myself. I was expecting though ‘experts’ to comment and help but it’s clear there is not enough ‘expert’ traffic on this site and it’s pretty pointless given the number of open questions from people.

    Well Ray,

    I would say, stick your hand in your pocket and pay for the expert advise you want instantly, Hotpoint charge £105 I believe, but I doubt you will get same day/next day service from them either, or better still train yourself to do the job like the rest of us.

    My preference would be that you disappear from this site permanently as clearly your not suited to understanding that we provide our services on a voluntary basis which basically means non of us are here at your beck and call.

    Don’t worry Jim, I am a big boy and can take it.

    I simply become frustrated when people think experts on Hotpoint/Indesit like you are expected to sit at a pc waiting to answer their problems when they don’t even give the basics of a model and serial number or even explain their level of experience to allow the guys on here a glimmer of a chance of helping them and moan about the lack of answers when in fact they are ignoring messages sent to them.

    You have more patients than me.

    Reading his post in his original thread it would appear that he took the advice I gave him in my PM and bought a new dishwasher, so he has only come back here posting this thread to behave like an asshole.
