KeymasterI’ve added vaccum cleaners to repairs@ this morning as I know that some of you do carry out repairs to them, even if it is on an RTB basis. But the leads generated may be of use.
It will be promoted as soon as Sean writes me up the vaccum basic fault guide, then we steer people as best we can, towards using the repairs@ module as we do currently for everything else. I have no clue what volume we’ll get out it but I do know that if it’s not offered we won’t get any.
Not much use to me, we don’t do the dusty stuff, but it may well be of use to many others.
Goatboy, I’ve already changed your repairs@ profile to reflect that you repair vacs as well as Sean’s. I wasn’t sure who else did them TBH, but if you let me know I will change the profile.
I have added Sebo in there as it was the only one I could see that was missing, but if I’ve missed any just let me know.
Also, while we’re on the subject of repairs@ there is the ability to add a line of blurb, you know the sort of “Cost effective relaible repairs in the XXXX area, agents for many makes” type of thing. If you want that added as it does seem to help, just let me know what you want adding.

Yes please Ken. If you could add us to the vacs repairs@.
I can`t believe you don`t repair them, it`s money for old rope.

Done.
We dont’ do them anymore because since about 1997 we’ve not had “retail” premises. If I had a shop or public accessible unit with a workshop area you bet I’d be doing it, as you say, it’s money for old rope.

I kinda did one for you, don’t know if it’s any good though. 😉
Interestingly someone was having a conversation with me a few months back about a network to repair vacs so I kinda thought, bugger it, we’ll just have some people that can do them there anyways.
