    Before long the punters will be too scared to buy new kit, there’s so many appliances doing this sort of thing.
    Manufacturer sending the machine back to customer? what sort of customer care is that. If they actually told the woman the Vac was still safe to use it’s disgusting, can you imagine a small independent doing this? TS would be all over them like a rash.

    Very suspicious this, so the manufacturers have tested it and said everythings ok.

    Its amazing what you can knock up with 5 min on paintshop express.
    I imagine she was hopping for some huge compensation claim.

    Definitely suspicious… it’s a very blurry picture but the “flat” bottom of the flames would definitely make me think it’s been through Photoshop; especially as the newspaper clearly couldn’t find any of this damaged carpet or ceiling to photograph.

    Have to be fair looking at the picture again, it does look as if the flames start in mid air & the bottom of the “Flames” is very flat.

    oh, and if i was hoover, id be onto them, refferring to it as a hoover when it wasnt.. these claims can be rather damaging

    i might be wrong, but arent some of the current bagless m/r vacs and hoover vacs coming out of the same factory?

    yes it looks very dodgy

    id like to see this in court, independantly verified 🙂

    clearly look like your average argos chav

    what kind of sofa does she have that would have gone up in fire, i thought they all had to be fire retardant since like the early 1990s

    loverly concrete garden, very child friendly. looks more like a garage forecourt/car park…

    maybe she sucked up a petrol spillage???
