vax mach2 u91-m2-b

Hi,
I have a vax mach2 u91-m2-b up right vacume cleaner on which the adjustment for the different thickness of carpets has snapped. The front wheels which are raised and lowered by this component are perfectly ok. What exactly is the part called and can somebody give me a part number for this thingamajig?. If so can you please write it and not use screen shots has I am totally blind and my screen reader will not read screen shots.

its vax do i doubt you will get it as vax are a chinese company who only import selected spares and complete machines

you could look on vax.co.uk and ring them but unless its under warranty you have little chance

Hi Dave,
I have tried to call vax, all so tried to have a online chat with them, they really do have the wortst customer service of any domestic appliance company I have had the misfortune in dealing with. An automated answering service that just cuts you of if your not prepared to buy a brand new machine, an online chat service that they simply ignore unless of course your buying a brand new machine ridiculous!.
Anyway thanks for your response I suspected something like this and if anybody ever asks me to recommend a vacume appliance manufacturer it will not be Vax.

Part Number according to their website is 1-3-127671-00
