    Hi folks,

I wonder if anyone has anything to suggest as to the reason for the rusting on the cooker? As you can see it’s not the cleanest cooker but a letting agent I do a lot of work for has asked for my opion. Basically why has it gone rusty on top of the doors and on the top of the control panel?

It’s a 5-6yo Beko, it might even be 7? (not seen it to check serial no)

Will grease and dirt left on the top of the doors cause the paint to degrade and causing it to rust?

    Thanks in advance.

i have seen quite a few Beko Flavel and Leisure 500mm cookers in this sort of condition the lower panel is replaceable (3 screws underneath) spillage and damp atmosphere must play a part but the control panel and door tops are only painted and not enameled like many other makes another ploy perhaps to make sure they dont last too long.

Thanks guys for the replies. All valid points which support my thoughts I expressed to the letting agents.

    Thanks again 🙂
