hi all, having trouble with the above. Was freezing everything inside so fitted new thermostat (vt9) and unceased the air circulation fan. Still overfreezing. but the capillary dosnt fasten to the plate it wraps rouns a plastic tube located above the plate so copied this. Is the vt9 not suitable? or should i fasten it to the plate? any ideas anyone please?

    Hi

This requires a air temperature thermostat unless you can fix it to the plate, couple of holes would do.and a hard piece of plastic and a couple of screws.

Thanks for your reply Bryan, do you mean air temp stat, like a vxo? Will the vt9 be ok if i fasten it to the plate do you think?

I have just had the same problem with the same fridge. Turned out to be the door switch had bent upward and wasn’t activating the fan. Straightened the plastic of the switch back into place and all fine.
