VHD 9143 hoover no drum action, induction motor

Hi, found blown fuse on module. Customer said he removed screws and coins from filter. I’m wondering if the pumps blocked up would this take out the fuse if machine tries to spin? I’m off to Maplins to try and get a t6.3ah hopefully not wasting time and the boards gone.

Had a few like that and it’s been the motor thats taken out the fuse. I think the motors super expensive too……which is nice.

Thanks for reply. I went back and put a fuse in and it went bang. The huge triac blew apart. I don’t want to risk £150 on a board if the motors are the problem. Is there a tell tale sign the motor has had it?
