vhv680f hoover tumble dryer not turning on

😀 hi i have the about hoover tumble VHV680F DRYER .
the thing will not turn on .i have put a new fuse in the plug which i used in another item to be working fine .pluged it in a different socket still dead ! i have no flashing lights and no sign of life .no power at all .is there something im missing?
thanks for your help .i just havent the money to get a new one and i havent had this one for long.
