I have had this fitted for about 8 months, it’s been brilliant. The heating has not been used for the past 5 months but we have noticed that the pump appears to be running all the time although no water is being used.the water light on the panel is lit most of the time but not all the time.I don’t want to wait until the weather changes to discover a bigger problem and finish up with no heating.I don’t want to call the engineer out for nothing and wondered would it be any good turning the power off to the boiler and pressing the reset button. Thank you

You’re on the wrong forum matey. You need a plumbers/heating engineer forum not domestic appliances. We don’t mess with household Central heating. We have enough problems with washing machines and fridges here pal! 😉

Thanks for,the reply but,I didn’t expect anyone to start advising me to mess with a gas appliance I just wondered if someone on this forum new enough to just advise if turning it off/on would help.
Rather than call an engineer out to do just that..

A heating forum will tell you that

Better still call the guy that installed it as at only 8 months old must still be under warranty. We can’t help you other than that!
