Can anyone advise if there is a conversion / alteration kit available for this model, to prevent the drum catching on the back panel? We have fitted a shaft repair kit but it still catches. Any help would be welcome! Kez

You need to replace the drum with a modified one.

I understand there’s a modified one, but this particular job is very tight on price. I wondered if there was any other way? Do you know the part number for the modified drum at all? Thanks Kez

put a shaft kit on it, pack it out at the back with washers, cut and put the felt seal over where it looks like its been scraping.

    only way youll save money

    might even work

The foam rear sealing ring in shaft kit 00113038 is thicker and pushes drum away from back plate I allways change it, I carry a chisle on van to scrap old one off.
