    Hello Folks,

I have a Hotpoint VTD65 that we have attended for a customer.

The Connection for the heater/motor has fried on the PCB Module.

Just checking the price of a replacement board and it is showing as “not programmed” I have seen this more and more lately. So does this mean it is not plug-n-play?

Most of the Indesit/Hotpoint range now have to be programmed.

Not sure if EMW do the dryer modules, worth giving them a ring.

    Thanks for the reply.

I sent a PNE in to Connect and they came back with 2 parts. An eeprom and PCB Module.

I spoke with my Brother who has a hand held unit.

Apparently, I have to buy this one time use Eeprom and pop it into this machine after replacing the board and it has a one time use, dispose of?

    Sounds like a plan!

Is it a smart card reader your brother has ? If so it’s a smart card and module you need, or ring EMW and ask if they can repair or replace the module with a pre-programmed one 😉
