w/m with no time out on fill !!

got a customer with low water pressure. She wants a new machine with 1200 spin and 6kg load. is there a washing machine made today with no time out on fill !!
i think some modern machines may have flow meters like some dishwashers, would this overcome the problem and which make or model would have this !

Hi Barry

When it comes to low pressure from wells or bore holes we always use the Bosch machines as they ony require 1 bar minimum pressure. My parents in law until recently ran a Bosch from a well with no problem whatsoever. You will need a flow rate of 8 litres per minute for a Bosch to work correctly.

…..also if the machine is taking water from the mains then the local water company are obliged to supply a minimum of 1 bar pressure anyway. Gravity fed supply requires at least a 7 foot head to give a similar flow rate. 9 times out of 10 most makes will cope fine such low pressures.

As for well water/private supplies then there could be many problems there anyway. So a tub and dolly paddle could be the way forward in cases like that! 😀

you can programe a Miele to low pressure mode, not sure how low it will take though.
