w/pool american f/f with inf/red

IS there anyone out there that nos of any test program for this type of appliance..12nc 858615115001 model s20brsb21..We have repaired several of late with ice maker problems but its always a bit of a lottery as to whats wrong.I’m guessing whirlpool agents or at least the ones we follow around no no better.(that wasn’t a dig)most of the time its seeems to be the main pcb or the water supply in the freezer frozen but we have had a no’s of infared senders and a few actual ice makers at fault. I really dont like playing the educated guessing game and throwing away parts that might be ok..

There are some test procedures you can carry out.
It’s pretty long winded so I’ll try and scan the sheets and email them to you.
