w/pool ice maker control

    I assume that there is a water level sensor,temp thermistor and harvest cycle control, what method is employed and the location of the business end of the sensors

    model? assuming the usual side by side its all controlled by the ice maker iteslf. there is a mechanical version with stepper motor and cams which swtich on the water valve (level controled by duration)and mould heater as it rotates.
    The electronic version works on the same priciple but without the cams. The electonic one has a test button to initialte a cycle while the mech one requires jumper leads to be inserted to test.
    The only other control is the infa red sensor which cuts the ice maker if its beam is obstructed by a full ice cube box or open freezer door.
