Oh no, not another new model…

    Well, sorta.

I respec’d the 1607 a while back to bring the model number into line with the new W288, CD601, D158 etc. because I know that us engineers are a simple bunch and don’t’ really care much about extended codes and we were now dealing direct with Asko. Part of that re-specification was the new model designation for the 1607, hence the W256.

Two other changes have been made.

The W256 has the soap drawer replaced with the swing drawer seen on the Eco machine as, in our opinion, it’s just better functionally and looks loads better.

Also, I added a low noise kit to the specification so there’s some extra sound deadening in there. How much difference that will make I’m not sure as I haven’t tested it but it drops the noise a few db.

Available mid to late next month and any orders will be automatically changed to the new model.

Although it costs us a little more there is no increase in prices.

Replying to my own posts again watching the tumbleweed drift by…

We’re down to the last few 1607’s, there are very few left indeed. Like five or so.

Thankfully, there is some stock of the W256 available which will be sent as soon as all the 1607’s are cleared.

Other than the changes noted above there is no change in specification nor any change in the price either. You can thank Greece for that. 😉
