ParticipantIf you select a cycle (any cycle) 48 is displayed and after a few seconds machine beeps and display goes to zero.Door lock symbol is flashing but door is not locked.Fiddly around sometimes door will lock and spin light comes on but will still not start.Checked motor brushes are ok.Does machine run diagnostic before or after start is pushed.Thinking this is a module fault.Machine appears to have broken whilst not in use.Any ideas.

I’ve done some digging and found this for you;
(It may do something or not???)
To enter the test mode on that machine follow instructions below
– Close the door
– Set program selector switch to position 0 (“OFF”)
– Wait two seconds
– Set program selector switch to position 8
– Wait until the start LED is flashing. (will take about two seconds)– Wait two seconds
– press and hold Reduce spin speed button
– Set program selector switch to position 9
– Release the “Spin speed” button.The machine should then be ready to be tested.
and this;
to reset module….Set selector switch to the 6 o’clock position , hold the spin speed button , turn the selector switch one click clockwise and after a couple of seconds release the spin speed button. Then switch off and switch back on and it should clear any fault.
As always check continuity / insulation of heater, blah, blah, blah, etc.

Don’t we need another sticky to gather up all these reset/test programme procedures?
Mike.
Edit: Oh hang on there is one already. Bet this Bosch procedure isn’t in it though.February 1, 2010 at 10:18 pm #305400superfix

Any time you see a key symbol on a Bosch Siemens Neff appliance Neil , its always the first thing to check ! They tend to only show on the display if the child lock is in operation.
Glad you sorted it .
