Just had a Bosch Frost free fridge freezer delivered. The delivery guy told me to wait 24 hours before turning it on. I’ve checked the Instruction manual and it says plenty about everything else but nothing about waiting 24 hours. Is this something to do with adjusting to temperature or allowing some kind of settlement after transportation?
No, it’s to do with letting the oil settle back into the compressor so it doesn’t block the system. Best done that way, especially if it was not transported upright. 😉
