KeymasterWhilst I bask in the glow of a cheque from Qualtex and think about harrassing the shit outta Homespares…
The ACH convo I had today filled me with more than a little hope, doing the maths more so. But really we need volume to drive it, that’s the trick to gaining revenue streams through it from anything other than call tarrifs.
That aside, ACH is the key to much that we wish to accomplish.
But the Graham Dixon thing may well produce some phenomenal results and gives me a little leverage with PG. Brownie points to Kevin. 😉
Spares we think have turned around due Google Ads, Dave, your comments please? David certainly seems to think there’s a definite difference.
Dave is also now trying a direct Paypal link on emails, Dave can explain. But I’d have to say it makes it a lot easier for any customer with a Paypal account and we’re surprised by the two or three Paypal orders that we’ve had already.
So, this whole holiday shite we get every year…
I’m happy to say that I think we have the best team all doing their best in their own areas of expertise. Failure, not happening here.

Yep, definitely a marked increase in the shop@ over the last couple of days and quite a few extra emails as well 😀

I missed that bit 😉
Basically an add on for Outlook, it generates some code and puts a “buy now” button in an email which when clicked sends the customer to the Paypal site and autogenerates a page with the part details on so they can pay direct to our Paypal account.
Fecking excellent it is 😀

KeymasterAfter nearly two weeks and reviewing this I’ve gotten the ads down to well under £20 a day and I think that they’re paying for themselves easily. Of course we won’t see the real benefit until normality is resumed this week.
From what I’ve seen about the basic page that’s there now it appears to work with over 200 reads in the first (not even) a day.
My vote is to keep running it through January and see what happens. If it’s a success we should change the “landing page” from Yell to the simple page as well.
Comments?

On the subject of Yell, I’m fooked if I can find UKW’s ad on there 😕
What or how do the public find the ads ?

KeymasterSearch the catogories we’re in and it should appear as a banner at the top.
