I’ve just moved into a house with a Tecnik range cooker dual fuel (model TKC 1285). I understand that they are no longer trading so am finding info about their products hard to find.
There is a green warning light which is coming on after a few minutes when either oven is turned on. The large oven won’t get up to temperature and the small oven will get up to temperature but seems to take a long time to do it. Both ovens make a lot of noise also, even when the conventional oven should be on and not the fan.
I wasn’t sure if the problem could be just an element failure in the large oven, or possibly a thermostat issue? The instructions aren’t very helpful (looks like a dog has chewed through half of them!)
Many thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I think the green light you’re seeing is the thermostat light that should go out if/when it reaches temperature.

There will be a cooling fan that’s running I expect and, that’ll be the noise.

However that machine was made by Siltal for Tecnik and almost all parts are obsolete now I’m afraid.

    K.
