what sort of thing do you have written for warranty that you offer when selling reconditioned appliances.to cover the likes of when things do go wrong should the customer decide to have a look at it and try to repair it themselves.
does your warranty cover for a different company to look at it or would that void your warranty and would it be strong enough to stand up in court if it came to it.
do you still charge a call out to look at it if they are out of your normal working radius?

    Re: Warranty

You should allready have terms and conditions written on your sales documents that cover these conditions, it is talked about on another thread. I cant find it but i am sure using the search facility you will find it

    Warranty or guarantee?

In law, a guarantee is an agreement given by a trader to a consumer, without any extra charge, to repair, replace or refund on goods which do not meet the specifications set out in the guarantee. A warranty is an insurance policy which provides cover for the unexpected failure or breakdown of goods, usually after the manufacturer or trader’s guarantee has run out.
