washed PVC apron in wash !!

I mistakenly washed a PVC apron in the washing machine which stank the place out with an awful gassy smell. Stopped the machine and disposed of it and did lots of maintenance wash cycles at high temperature with soda crystals. Trouble is the awful smell can be still smelt on any clothes i wash… 😡

Do i do more maintenance washes or what ? Please help !!

More maintenance washes or trying some Afresh to clear it is about all you can do.

Is this just a washing machine or washer dryer? If the latter did that item go through a dry cycle also?

thanks, no luckily it didn’t but been doing maintenance washes all day and it really is taking an age to get rid of the smell, BIT better now. Think it probably stuck to the drum or something..plus all my washed clothes stank of it !! 😡
