I know I should really buy separates, but we’ve only got limited space. The dryer isn’t an important part of the package, but would be useful to have.

We have a Candy at the moment, but it’s now fubar, so I need to replace. This deal at Comet has caught my eye:

There’s got to be a reason that it’s so cheap, though – right?

Any other suggestions as to what I might like to get. My budget is pretty restricted. There’s two of us and a toddler, so the washer is getting some heavy use, and we don’t really use the dryer that much…

    Re: Washer Dryer

    Hi deegee

If you can do without the dryer then don’t go for a washer dryer as they don’t do what they say. The only one that does the job is the Miele at over a thousand.

Washer dryer buying guide is a good read to see where we are coming from.

Needless to say the Indesit is not a good bet 😉

I would recommend the Bosch WAE24060 for the same amount of money as the Indesit. It will outlast the Indesit by a long distance and have a two year warranty.

If later on you find you are not coping without a dryer I would probably get one of the White Knight 3 kg compact dryers which you should be able to pick up for around the £110 mark.

    HTH 🙂
