washer dryer APM8703 not drying

hi i have a MFI APM 8703 washer dryer, (servis) when i select the drying option it spins and then the dial rotates to the stop position and the dry cycle ends. i get 0V to the dry motor or dry element. Does anyone thik it could be the module or the dry timer?

Is the half load option selected? If memory serves if it isn’t it won’t go onto the drying cycle.

Saying that, again from memory, the dryer stats have a nasty habit of tripping out.

thanks kwatt no none of the extra buttons are selected. The one shot TOC (button reset) is not tripped and the other stat has continuty. I would have thought if the stats tripped out the dry fan would still come on but no power to element.

The half load switch must be selected before the dryer will work.

thanks washman, oops think you might be right on this one will go back and have a look, didn’t know half load HAD to be selected. My fault jumping in looking for difficult faults again!
