Washer-dryer BHWD 129 stops during pumping

Dear UKW,

I have a hotpoint/indesit BHWD 129 washer dryer which stops a few seconds after starting to pump out. The buttons lights flash continously (with no pattern) and program lights 1,2,3 and 4 are lit (1 being the bottom door lock, then “End”, dry and spin respectively). For the few seconds the pumping seems to work fine and it is possible to empty the machine by restarting the pump-out program a couple of times. The filter in the bottom was also cleared (the problem started after cleaning the filter in fact)

I understand the program lights indicate the error code but I can’t find an online technical manual unfortunately. I’ve found a few references in UKW to other models (the closest is probably http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/faul … codes.html) but can’t be sure those apply here.

Your assistance in identifying the problem would be greatly appreciated

If lights 1 to 4 are lit one being the bottom door lock light that’s F15 – a fault with the drier element, posable open or short circuit or earth leakage problem

Check the connections on the element a and test it with meter for continuity and earth leakage, if element fine posable board problems.

To clarify, I had understood but wasn’t certain that the door lock button was just an indicator of error, not part of the error code (so probably should have called if light zero, not 1). If that’s the case then the error code shown by the other 3 lights would be 7 rather than 15?

Door lock is led 1 and classed as the first one.
