Washer dryer for single person

Please recommend me a washer dryer, this is what I think is important to me
– should be a good washing machine first and formost (dryer will be occasional use, may get separate vented dryer when kitchen is redone)
– should be quiet
– quick wash (sub hour at 30 or 40)
– should last around 5 years
– looking to spend sub £500

I currently have a bush washing machine (came with house), which is slow and noisy . I had before (in rented proerty) a new hotpoint washer dryer which seemed much better. Not sure that hotpoint is best thing to spend own money on though

Taking your budget and requirements into consideration you are not going to better a Hotpoint.

That aside could you not at this stage get a better washing machine like a half decent Bosch and add a dryer later?
