What washer-dryer recommendations do people have? Best makes, etc. I like Trinity Bendix as have a no hassles washer by them and I believe they are made by Zanussi. Any help appreicated.

Washer dryers are okay but they are not the most reliable of machines. Probably the best of them is the Bosch WVT1260, nationwide service network , good build, sensible to use with good energy efficency and with a two year guarantee. Price £450.
If you have room for two seperate machines then this is the best way to go. If space is at a premium then you could consider a compact dryer which could store into a cupboard when not in use.
