We hadn’t used the dish washer for a few weeks since we moved house. After reconnecting, it worked fine for a couple of times. On the third time, we had a power-cut in the midle of the cycle. After restoring power, it emptied itself but would not complete or restart the cycle. Now, whenever we turn it on, both washing and drying lights start flashing and it refuses to start any programme. Is there a button-press combination to reset it or is it more serious than that?

    Please help!

    Hi
Basically the “Protection against flooding” has been activated.
With the power off, I would check to see if there is any water below the wash tank in the base plate. If so carefully remove it watching not to slosh any water into the electrics.
Re-assemble and try again. If fault returns either try and find the leak yourself but may be difficult as we recommend power off when working on any appliance.
In this instance, it may be wise to use an engineer form the link below if the leak isn’t easily spotted 🙂

PS – Fault codes ARE in the user manual.
If you can provide the Production Code number which will start 911….. then I can send you the correct one if required 😉

Thanks Greg for your prompt respnse. The machine is bone dry though. I think it’s going to be an engineer call. Thanks again.
