    Hi

I like to say Ive had such bad luck over the past week, 1st made redundant xmas eve, then oven went, then dishwasher and now looks like washing machine 😯

I bought a proline CDW655P-U tabletop dishwasher, and it seemed to be loud to me, when reviews said quiet, then the fuse box for the kitchen sockets went off, and I saw the washing machine (which wasnt on) was filled with water.

I havent tried the dishwasher since, everything is currently disconnected.

Do you think because of the washing machine faulty that is why the dishwasher was loud? Im wondering whether to try it again, should I?

The washing machine, reading on the internet on similar things, you think the machines valve as gone? also do you think this happened when the inlet thing was turned back on after it was turned off to install the dishwasher?

You think its just the washing machine gone wrong, or the new dishwasher as well?

Both were contacted on the cold water inlet thing with a “Y” connection as I only have 1 cold water inlet thingie.

The tabletop dishwasher seems better in design than my last one looks more solid, but seemed noisy. Reason I bought it was reviews said quiet as Im in a flat (http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Dishwashers/bu … her/702722). You think that was because of the washing machine? just wondering whether to try again once I get a cap to put over where the washing machine went on.

Re: washing machine + dishwasher problems

    Hi Shirl,

Neither one should really affect the other unless they are into the same drain outlet then it’s possible that the dishwasher emptying could fill your washing machine with waste water. But, that would depend on how it’s plumbed.

Other than that both the washing machine and dishwasher should work completely independent of one another.

So I’d give it a go and see what happens.

    K.
