Washing machine in garage

Is a washing machine Ok in a garage? The kitchen is small so I would like to move it out, the garage is heated to stop it falling bellow 5°C, but can get warm in summer.

Thanks in advance for advice, this is a very helpful resource and I have mentioned it to friend and family.

No real problems other than frost which you have covered. The one real drawback is that you don’t often hear the machine running when it is out of sight. Certain small ‘noises’ can be a precursor to a far more serious breakdown if ignored. Just take the time to listen to it in action, particularly on spin every so often.
