ParticipantHi everyone. I have a Firenzi Autowash 1000 washing machine. I know the name will probably not be familiar to anyone, it is Magnet’s own, the ones you get when you buy a kitchen from them. Anyway, I’ve had it for no more than 14 months and have had no problems with it until now. All of a sudden it has stopped draining so the washes never seem to finish, they just sit there, with the clothes soaked inside. The ‘Rinse Hold’ button isn’t pressed. We have called their helpline and they will charge us £75 for just the callout, and then whatever parts are needed. I know this is pretty much standard, but I have the feeling that the washing machine probably isn’t worth much more than the cost of fixing it, and also, I think maybe the problem is something we could do ourselves. My husband has gone through all the troubleshooting options in the manual but has had no joy. We have A 2-year old son so really need this fixed ASAP or else buy an alternative. Any advice anyone?

Hi
A model number for starters would be an advantage. These tend to be Whirlpool made so I would be looking for a barcode sticker, then the 12 digit number below would be the number we would require to assist you further.

Hi, yes, sorry, I’m new to this. The product number is 914880031-01. I hope this helps. Thank you so much.

I’d like to update the situation on my washing machine.
The washing machine had also stopped spinning.
We’ve emptied the water out of the washing machine, and it will now spin.
However, on a full cycle, the water does not drain out and no spin happens.
Additionally, when the drum is going around, it makes a grinding noise.
Thanks again

Have you checked the filter (if fitted) and pump area because it sounds like you have a foreign object in there causing the pump to jam and not empty.
Un plug appliance before investigating :plug:
