No but then again i wouldnt recommend a Daewoo or Kia either. 😉
The Fiat Panda would be the obvious choice but then thats Italian as well.

Yup and its a hell of a difference finding £200 extra for say an ISE Appliance then finding a £100,000+ for a Ferrari.

For my two pennys worth.
My engineers are some of the tightest around and would only splash the cash on something that delivered not only value for money but would also want the best there is for the cheapest they could get. Thats not to say they dont want quality though.
They want the ferrari and for Daewoo money and expect it to be as reliable as a BMW.
Having installed some 50 plus units including some for our staff, my engineers would now happily spend the money and purchase the ISE machine rather than anything else.
We purchased one of the first units available to the independents. We have put that unit on test in our workshops since the day it arrived some 14 months ago and it runs Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm constantly and yes I mean 9 hours a day, 5 days a week for 14 months, washing uniforms etc. Its never failed once, not even the pump. Thats semi commercial use on a domestic appliance.
Only time will say if its reliable or not, but evidence so far states that next to nothing in the same price range is as good and as reliable.
Simple fact, if it were my money to be spent; on an ISE it would go.
Regards all

ParticipantOK, have decided to go for the ISE machine.
At the bottom of this page: http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/product_ … cts_id=469
there’s a quote sayingIn July’s issue of Which Magazine the ISE CI555WH ranks in the top ten washing machines and one of only two AAA rated washing machines in that number!
Please could someone tell me which year that quote is from?

Thanks. I will keep an eye out for it.
Can anyone post the full text of the March 07 ISE review, also quoted on that page.

I don’t have it digitally aside from which, Which may have a problem with that due to copyright restrictions. 😉

I have just taken the Which Online free 30 day trial, and have read the review, which is ok.
However, I really would like to see more independent reviews of this machine, other than those on UKwhitegoods or Washerhelp.

There’s little chance of that I’m afraid. Other than perhaps Good Houskeeping the ones mentioned, Washerhelp, Which and UK Whitegoods, are about the only places that actually review the machines at all so far as I am aware.
And manufacturers are VERY reluctant to let us review their appliances for some reason.
