    Evening all,

I am in dilemma in deciding either to get a 2in1 washer dryer or two seperate units.

    Our requirements are –
    1. Energy Efficent
    2. minimum of 1400rpm
    3. Quiet-ish
    4. Good Build for lasting long
5.Short wash option / Good Selection of programs
    6. Long Gurantee

What would you all recommend and why?

From a search online the two I am really looking the like of are –

    1. LG F1495KDS TrueSteamâ„¢ Washing Machine, 11kg Load, A+++ Energy Rating, 1400rpm Spin, White

    2. Samsung WF1124XAC ecobubbleâ„¢ VRT Washing Machine, 12kg Load, A+++ Energy Rating, 1400rpm Spin, White

What do you guys think of them?

Don’t buy a washer dryer full stop.

For real quality look no further than ISE or Miele, nothing else comes near, certainly nothing made in Korea does.

Not really possible on a washer dryer, especially on drying which is also inefficient and often painfully slow.

Most will do this or better to get the coveted “A” spin rating.

    Very subjective.

For a washer dryer, Miele is your only option for that.

A normal washing machine you can choose from Miele, ISE and V-Zug and some of the very top end Bosch and Siemens but beyond that I wouldn’t say much if any would fit the bill.

    Short wash: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … -wash.html

Range of programs, why? Most people only use the basic programs and seldom (if ever) use the ones that they often should let alone the ones that aren’t really needed.

On a washer dryer, not a prayer. Not even the glimmer of a chance as they are far, far more prone to breaking.

Given your large capacity choices which may not be entirely accurate shall we say, I’d also suggest a read at these:
