    hi,

washing machine is a hoover vision hd 1400 8kg
and is triping the old voltage trip device.

it has only started happening recently and wondered if there is a specific problem with this machine and if any of you guys have came across this before.

im getting a low insulation resistance between line and cpc when testing on the plug, a reading of 1.3M/ohms @250v so probably be less if tested at 500v dc. thanks if you have any ideas.

machine is ok when you turn it on at plug but soon as you set a cycle it trips so im thinking water level sensor or something around these lines

The easiest way is to unplug bits one at a time until the reading increases.

I would start with the motor and then the heater. 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance it’s one of these.

after reading a little im leading towards a solinoid valve, but im sure you know where im guessing, i like what you say disconnect bits and see if increases

Personally I would do less reading and more individual testing. Thats the only way you will find the fault.

    Power off of course.
