WASHING MACHINE WONT SPIN

I have been having problems with my washing machine and it not spinning, it
gets to the Spin Cycle and stops and just sits with the water in, if i put it on spin it just does a normal wash and again doesnt spin, i had someone come and look at it and he took filter out and cleaned it and it worked but it has started doing it again, i have checked the filter which is fine any ideas, i am not sure of the make its a intergrated one begins with a S

Make and Model number if at all possible.

Depending on how well it was installed, which sadly in most cases is ‘not very’ you may be able to find some numbers behind the filter door at the bottom if it has one, also look inside the door as well.

Failing that it may have to be dragged out to look on the back. 😥

Whatever make it is, the machine sounds like its blocked elsewhere or the pump has failed.

Unplug the machine if you are going to take anything apart.

Its a Diplomat APM 8513/2 is it going to be cheap to mend if it is the pump or should i just get a new washing machine

pump/blockage is a viable repair.
