    Help, please!

After deciding to bin the battered state that is my half-working Hotpoint (well, it’s going on eBay), I would love some help/advice on buying my next appliance.

I haven’t a large budget (circa £300, £350 at a push), but I have one specific requirement: it must be silver (not stainless steel) to fit in my kitchen.

I’ve read the various articles on this site (and bloomin’ useful they are too), and I think I want to buy a Bosch. Question is: which one?

The machine will be used 3-4 times a week.
It will wash 2 people’s clothes (that figure won’t increase!)
Neither of us have any skin conditions or needs from the washing machine.
It’s being installed in my kitchen, on what looks like a chipboard floor of some description (don’t ask me, I only know that because I pulled the floor up the other week)
We always line dry – in fact I am ditching a washer dryer for an outright machine!

I hope that someone can offer some helpful advice and assistance. The Bosch WAE2416S seems to be the only one in my price range. Your thoughts would be welcome.

Thank you… now there’s a name I hadn’t considered. Gorenje…? I know so very little about them. How do they fare in the reliability stakes?
